Ok but like. What the fuck is there to do on the internet anymore?

Idk when I was younger, you could just go and go and find exciting new websites full of whatever cool things you wanted to explore. An overabundance of ways to occupy your time online.

Now, it’s just… Social media. That’s it. Social media and news sites. And I’m tired of social media and I’m tired of the news.

Am I just like completely inept at finding new things or has the internet just fallen apart that much with the problems of SEO and web 3.0 turning everything into a same-site prison?

Here’s a bunch of silly, small websites, some games & some useful things. 

The Useless Web takes you to a random useless website. 

Wolvden & Lioden are fantastic “virtual pet” games that are actually rpg sims, very in-depth & time-consuming. 

Here’s a shitton of websites that you can play free games on: Addictinggames, Silvergames, Newgrounds, Armorgames, Gamaverse, & if you go to itch.io you can narrow your search to “free” & “online” for more. The powder game still exists as well! 

There’s also both Picrew & Meiker for dress-up games, and a personal favorite of mine Charat, and old classic websites like Azaleasdolls are still around! 

There’s all sorts of weird little sites all around like this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, and this one that I use to play mad libs w/my friends. Or make custom jigsaw puzzles here. 

There’s websites that emulate old DOS games like this and this and this. (sorry these are links to specific games, i’m pulling all the links out of my personal archives) 

And of course, there’s a metric shitton of webcomics - not just on popular hosting sites, but old comics w/their own hosting like this one or these ones. I’m not sure how to come by them unless someone who already knows about them sends you one, though.

I don’t even know why coz it’s 3am and they’re fictional characters. My favorite anime, though, so…

For almost 8 years(?!) I’ve been denying that Ueki x Mori was canon. I’ve always seen the Ueki x Mori relationship as a strong friendship, and nothing more than that. Didn’t want to believe or even assume that it was possible without any proof from Fukuchi-sensei.

When I read the LoU manga, Ueki mentioned in Volume 1: Chapter 1 that he already had someone he liked, but it was never clarified who it was. And when a reader asked Fukuchi-sensei about it (published in the final volume of LoU), sensei responded like he was trying to avoid answering, lol, and just said that “maybe it will be revealed someday, but you don’t need to know about it now.” But after I read all of LoU Plus, I still didn’t get an answer. So I concluded that nah it wasn’t mentioned anywhere who the girl was and I was so ready to finalize the fanfic I came up with just to fill in that question. Been a few months since I read LoU Plus, and just tonight when I thought of going through it again (sudden urge for fanart), I checked the raw scans and there I saw it. Which I didn’t see before because the bonus pages weren’t included in the translated version.

In one of the bonus corners, Mori asked Ueki who he was referring to when he said that there was already someone he liked. Ueki answered in this panel.

ughhh dang it, KOUSUKE.

I was flat down WHAAAT when I read it. Ueki x Mori just got real for me. Took a freakin’ 8 years but okay. Accepted it. And I don’t have a problem with it. Guess I’ll have to scratch that fanfic now lol :)

To fans of The Law of Ueki, especially Ueki x Mori fans, I have a confession to make. I see that my post from a long time ago about this ship is still going around. I haven’t gotten the time to clear things up until now, so here goes.
